Welcome to Trust Will Wise

At Trust Will Wise, we help families, business owners, couples, individuals, and expat settlers plan for the future with confidence. Our approach blends expertise with a warm human touch.

What We Do

We provide clear, practical guidance to help you plan for the future and protect what matters most. Our services include drafting wills, advising on inheritance planning, setting up trusts, and supporting with powers of attorney, ensuring your wishes are clearly recorded and legally robust.

Wills

A will sets out your wishes and makes sure that after you die, your assets and possessions (known as your estate) will go to the people and organisations you choose.

Trusts

A trust is a highly effective financial planning tool. It is a legal arrangement that allows someone to transfer ownership of assets to another party. These assets can include cash, property, shares, or a life insurance policy.

Estate and Succsession Planning

Without a clear plan, individuals, couples, blended families, and complex situations may face uncertainty and financial instability, especially UK expats with overseas assets and business or agricultural owners with cross-border interests.

ExPats

Whether you are a UK expat living abroad or an overseas expat living in the UK, Trust Will Wise can help you protect your UK-based assets in accordance with UK law and through our international partners, we can help UK expats protect their foreign assets in accordance with the laws of the country of residence.

Powers of Attorney

A power of attorney allows you to give someone you trust the legal authority to make decisions on your behalf, either if you are no longer able to do so yourself or if you choose not to.

Deputyships

Degenerative, physical, and mental illnesses are common situations where it may be necessary to appoint a Deputy to make decisions on behalf of a vulnerable person, particularly in relation to healthcare, property, and financial matters, where a Lasting Power of Attorney is not already in place.

A face-to-face meeting is not mandatory to establish a Will. Following COVID,
we can now meet online, subject to the relevant proof of identity being
provided and verified.

If you are an individual or a couple seeking to establish or update your Wills,
you can bring someone to the meeting. However, there may be certain points
during the meeting when third parties may need to leave the meeting room or
the online session.

Yes. Through establishing a Trust for each beneficiary or group of
beneficiaries in your direct bloodline.

Yes, if the business you own is a limited company, the business can be included in the Will. Shares will be passed to beneficiaries in the Will. If the beneficiaries wish to have nothing to do with continuing the business, but other interested parties do, then, with a number of estate planning and commercial law statutes, the business can continue after your death.

As a sole trader, the business will cease to exist upon your death, and any business assets will be designated as being part of your personal estate. You can include it in your Will by naming who should inherit it or how it should be wound down.
